Shown here is the female Himalayan Impeyen Pheasant (left) and the female
Teminck's Tragopan Pheasant. As you can see, this pair of pheasants are of the more traditional female colors. The feathers still carry a very nice feather pattern and will make a great Hawaiian feather lei of more earth tone colors. The Impeyan and the Blyth's Pheasant and known to be near endangered in their own natural habitats. In the aviaries around the country, they are making a steady comeback.
