This is a collection of various color combinations of lei kāmoe (aka velvet rope or cigar lei). All of these feather leis are hand
made by
me. I cut and trim all of the feathers I use and each
feather is hand tied onto a yarn base and finished with satin
ribbon. Any of the colors or color combinations you see
below can be made in quantities for groups and for halau
adornments (as seen above with illima/scarlet accents). Quantity prices can be negotiated for orders
totaling more than five leis of the same color or combination.
If you would like to have a feather lei made in a

Shown here is an original Makanaaloha design. This is a
double lei kāmoe. What gave me the idea is, I have noticed in the past when some people purchase a lei
kāmoe, they always ponder the thought of purchasing two leis because of the color combination of the red & illima. I tried a lei with combining of the two lei
kāmoe into one. This was a difficult process to get to the point of completion. The lei was started over a number of times when it came to the point of combining the two at the ends.
This lei is 25" in length. Well, here is the end result of my creation and I hope you like it.
